I think its a legitimate question. After all, its not your everyday poster who has multiple windows open at any one time and has current and backdated versions of a thread all going at the same time like Saber says he does. Seems like a lot of trouble to go to simply to read about current events. How would you know how many windows the everyday poster has open. Who cares anyway.

How would you know how many windows the everyday poster has open. I never claimed to "know." All I claimed is that it seems odd for a poster to have multiple windows open, carrying present and back versions of the same thread. I'm still struggling to understand how that helps a user to read material on FreeRepublic.
Who cares anyway.
Saber does, apparently. He brought it up when I asked.

I always have at least 30 tabs (windows) open in Safari, it's a lot more convenient.
