I don't. Just watch social liberal republicans voting patterns. You might as well put a democrat in office because they are the ones that always cave and vote with the democrats.
The social conservative has taken up the fight for all conservative issues with zeal once they moved over. Unlike the liberal Republican.
If people like you drive the social conservative out of the Republican party as the democrats did, where do you think they will go? It is much easier to walk away from a party due to principle once you have done it once already in the past(and studies have shown that they are the ones to sit out an election if not given somebody they can vote for). What will the effect be on the Republican party?
Unlike you I think that that caculation has been made. Put lip-service pro-life Republicans in office that will never do anything about changing the status quo and we keep the social Republican vote that puts us over the top and sends us $50 per campaign.
Who, exactly, are 'people like me'?
RW Prof is a social conservative.
