This is not the thread for debating that issue (it's about BADJOE), so I won't try to steer things into an off-thread debate here, but I want to respond -- just this once -- to your point. The science threads are interesting of themselves, attracting some pretty good freepers who participate not only in the science threads, but also in a variety of other topics.
Many of us think evolution in particular is an important topic for the forum. As you probably know, the evolution vs creationism debate is a raging issue in school boards all across the country, so it's a very current topic. The general idea many of us have is that if one vocal group -- an anti-evolution group -- claims to be the exclusive voice of the conservative movement and thus the republican party, well ... there will be consequences. We don't want the tent to get too small, do we? If we don't have a winning party, we can't roll back anything.
I think there is some sort of unwritten rule around here that once a thread goes over a couple of thousand posts, the topic is pretty much out the window.
Besides, really, what is at all interesting about Badjoe? He had a spat with JimRob a year or so ago, he lost, and he's been bent on revenge ever since.
Is revenge a conservative value?

Well, tell me again what you call those people who think God used evolution - at least in part - as His method for creation? I'm one of those.
