I respectfully request that you DO NOT ban gore3000. I have seen him grow on this forum. When first he came, his opponents often bested him on the facts of the debate. After a year, he normally bested them. As a result, they shifted from debating the facts to personal, even juvenile, insult.

The issue of the origin of man is not a trivial one. If the naturalists are right, then ultimately so are the socialists- for it means that man is malleable. It means that he can be changed and shaped by his environment over and above his illusory free will, even to the point of going from ape to man, or even back again. With this understanding, there can be no such thing as 'rights' or 'human rights', for there is no fixed idea of what it is to be human, nor any absolute standard by which to judge one thing or another a 'right'.

As hard as it is to believe by someone who has had macroevolution drilled into their skull by force of repetition, creationists can win the debate on the facts- if they are not silenced.

In so winning, they (we) can also win ultimate victory for the conservative philosophy, one which assumes human life is sacred because it is made in the image of God. Without that, 'right' are merely illusions for propaganda purposes only. The state can mold man as they see fit. The left knows this, that is why leftists are all evolutionists while the right is split.
