Just pointing out that (as you know) propoerly protected trade secrets transcend temper tantrums.

True. And, I don't even know that the moderator's identities could even be considered a "trade secret" - I am not a lawyer (thank deity). I simply suggested that tack as one avenue to investigate.

Moderator's ID could be preserved as trade secret, IMO. The person who values the secret has to intend secrecy, and take measures to preserve the secret (basically tell on a "need to know basis" and obtain contractual agreement to not tell). As a practical matter for FR, I'm not sure of the financial damage if the "secret" is disclosed.

Careful with the blanket condemnation of lawyers. ;-)
