FR has never been 'wide open'..
Some have always been able to ignore the 'posting guidelines', and avoid getting banned..

I don't mind it. I try to stay on topic even if someone is flaming away, the abuse button is for sissies in my estimation, lol. But it isn't alot of posters cup of tea, and it did cost us some big players like Hannity.

I have had posters, you know who you are, try to bait me into an exchange, hoping I will blow my kewl so they can push the abuse button and get me banned, but the MAP was not raised to be a fool.

I did not like what happened between Rush and some elements on FR. Like I said, I'm here to make a difference, or try to. Alienating celebs is not my idea of how to get that done, so I see the need for moderators.
