"Intelligent design" is a version of evolution, a subset of theistic evolution.
For reasons which escape me, most of the creationists on Free Republic are Young Earth creationists (YECers), who apparently think that theories of theistic evolution are at best an oxymoron, and at worst a plot by the Devil, yet give lip service to Intelligent Design.
