Two of them were deeply offended by my instant recall of Scripture, which I attribute entirely to the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, i.e. I do not have the Bible memorized. They implied that the Spirit within me is none other than Satan. Instantly the verses of Matthew 12:24 came to mind and I posted them. I dutifully post the Scriptures that I am compelled in the Spirit to post.

The outrage was unbelievable and not once did any consider that perhaps the Spirit was not pleased being called Satan. The reason for the outrage is that those verses say that calling the Holy Spirit Beezelbub is the unpardonable sin.

Even though I wasn't involved with the discussion at the time, my memory tells me you (Alamo-Girl) seem to have this section flip flopped. I don't remember offense at "instant recall", it seemed more offense at your (A-G's) referencing Matt 12:24 when a believer (Halffull I believe) questioned your interpretation and use of scripture.

This is in no way an attack on Alamo-Girl, for if A-G is the bride of Christ I wouldn't want Christ viewing me as an attacker. OUCH. Just giving my view of the truth of the situation.

Thank you so much for your post! But it happened as I said. The originating post was a quote which made the statement that such a thing is possible. Previously there was a Freepmail to that effect and following that quote onthread was the statement that the quote was "exactly" what was happening. That's when I was compelled to respond with verses mentioned.
