Why yes, one of your technically sophisticated multiple windows ferreted out my infraction. Then you reposted it in its entirety to this thread after it had been deleted by the moderators, violating the posting rules here in the process.

That's called "being a troll", buddy.

FreeRepublic was considered one of the stickiest sites on the net because it's so easily viewed in multiple windows. John Robinson took time to build a new forum software upgrade, and in that process removed the option to open new threads in new windows. The Response thread with a plea to return to "open in New Window" threading received hundreds of replies begging for the option back. You are aware there are 3 options for opening threads on FR, and 2 involve opening threads in new windows?

What does your carefully-crafted explanation have to do with the fact that the individual you are referring to used his complicated and intricate "system" to repost material that had previously been deleted by the mods in another thread? THAT was the infraction.

I honestly don't give a fig if somebody uses multiple windows, multiple computers, or even stands on their head and clucks like a chicken while reading FreeRepublic. Its when that someone does so in order to capture and repost material that was deleted by the mods, to troll other posters, or to flout the rules here that it starts to get a bit ridiculous.
