Ignore everything in my recent posts. I...oh, I thought you were going to suggest we do something out of the ordinary. My mistake.

Another question I would ask is why are they so worried of others who do not share their religious beliefs? And why all the anger?
I remember a radio program here locally introduced a religious topic. You should have heard all the fundamentalists callers come out of the woodwork to bash Jews and Catholics.
Makes one wonder what the preachers are preaching when these people think that no Jew or Catholic is going to heaven...but they are going to be welcomed despite their attitude.
Me, I say, let us all worship in our way, and God will cull us out in his wisdom.

Why can't atheists be social conservatives? Good question. I guess they can, actually. They can be anti-abortion and pro family values, can't they?

Looks like their is some trollin' goin' on here. I thought we were trying to move on?

Actually it shows (in that instance) more evo's than creationists banned. Hmmm. The pro-science crowd forgot to raise a stink and start hijacking Jim Rob's threads? Clearly, we're not holding up our end of the religious wars.
To: Chad Fairbanks
I believe that The Creator used Evolution as his tool of creation. There are a lot of us who believe this. As I understand it, the majority of scientists believe this.

You know, you're never going to heaven with that attitude.../sarcasm Well, I am a fallen away Catholic, but I still believe in purgatory. I'm willing to do my time there if the rest of these nutcases are with me.
LOL

Not sure about that for me.
If some of those that are here, happened to show up there and do time with me there, I might just go to the man, and say, send me below, it's gotta be better then this.

You're saying that all conservatives are social conservatives.Indeed I am, all conservatives are social conservatives. Republicans, as I indicated can be atheists or whatever, but conservatives have to be social conservatives and cannot be atheists. This is not a conservative forum. It may be a Repbublican forum, but not a conservative one.

That some view any diversity of religion as an insult and assault on ChristianityTotally false. The fight going on in America is between religion and atheism, not between different religions and what is being fought about is the complete cowing of religious expression. That is against the Constitution.

You have a source for this, other than your say-so?Read Edmund Burke, "REflections on the Revolution in France". No economics there.
