I'm worried that this 5000 pound gorilla will dilute the platform of the GOP. He is the anti-conservative on most hot issues.

When Arnold becomes the target, and he learns first hand how the Dems REALLY operate, he may not become more conservative, but he will certainly become more anti-Democrat.
He may even gain a better appreciation for the reason the Founding Fathers created the 2nd Amendment.

Arnold is the best choice for our party at the moment.
Or, perhaps we can urge Pat Robertson to run- go down in glorious flames, but with our platform faithfully intact.
To repeat my self, Schwarzenegger is a RINO, but that is what it takes to win California.
The big picture is the 2004 presidential election.
A Republican Governor will be an asset.

Wait until he says what he'd do. The snippets I've seen lately say opposite. What someone says when at a Hollywood event, and what he'd do when the future of a State is on the line can be different. I saw a funny clip this afternoon. He was at some kind of dinner and he was talking about his wife. He said, "when we got married they asked me if I'd be there in sickness and in Health, till death do us part. Well.. being a Democrat is a terrible sickness!!!!" I like him.
