Huh?
It's a variation on a current theme by David Horowitz.
It's aparently no longer enough to vote, or to vote for a Republican and agree to disagree, or to even vote for a winning Republican, because the sky will fall unless we vote for Arnold.
Hurry! Panic! Vote Now!

Yes, I read the piece by David Horowitz and that was one of the things that contributed to my mindset. It reinforced to some extent what I had been thinking about for the past couple of days now.

A real political leader wouldn't turn away a Republican who is a passionate patriot and loves America, and has the enthusiastic support of the people of the state that brought us San Fran, Berkeley, Hollywood, and the likes of Pelosi, Davis, Boxer and Feinstein.
Ergo, you are no leader.
Being a Warrior FReeper is not only about talking tough and being idealogical.
As Reagan said, someone who agrees with you 80% is NOT your enemy.
Let's be smart enough to win and hold power.

Yeah--the fabled David Horowitz. The term 'neocon' comes to mind, but that gets flames aplenty. Suffice it to say that H is certainly no conservative.
More: I suspect that the wind will come out of AAAAAhhhhhnold's sails in two weeks, when he is pinned down about policy and principles.
Don't vote too early...

Finally-if you look hard enough, you will find Aaaahhhhhnold's apparent platform. It's the Social Democrats' platform in Austria.

IC. The theory that electing a "conservative" Pubbie is a bad idea right now is crap. McClintock will have a soapbox to become a teacher and an instructor. He will be able to explain the choices between higher taxes and spending cuts, in concrete and persuasive terms. He will re-energize the GOP party, and give it meaning. He just needs to put a bit more passion in his voice, and exude a bit more warmth.
Ya, I know McClintock is a longshot right now. So what?
