Why are you confused?
You chose your path.
Many men, and a few women, died to give you that choice.
Can you understand how insulting it is to the society these people fought for, and are fighting for now, even as we "speak" that you would dare ask for justification over the bodies of dead soliders,that you get an extra 50K a year reward for screwing your fellow citizens for an additional 2% profit?

Get off your high horse, sister. And stop accusing someone who's trying to put food on his table of being unpatriotic.

Face some cold hard facts: this is a global economy. If you sit in front of a computer screen to do your job, the likelihood is that someone else can do it in another country at a much lower cost to your employer. No matter what he says now, he will eventually be forced, by his competition, to outsource to stay competitive.

You had better figure out, right now, how to bring 20 times your salary in real dollars to your company.

You are no longer competing with just Americans, but with every other person who can do your job on the planet.

You can stamp your feet all you want, and hurl insults at people who are figuring out how to adjust to the new reality all you want.

But, unless you figure it out (nobody's going to do it for you), you're going to be left behind.
