So you agree with the central hypothesis of science, that the laws of nature, both discovered and yet to be discovered, are uniform over time? I can't say that with any certainty and neither can you. We have no way of measuring those laws in the past - assumptions must be made.

That is the assumption made by science. There are attempts to assert that specific physical constants have changed over time, but they lead to impossible contradictions. If all constants change in synchrony, there is no way to detect the change, nor any reason to care.
