Your view of American history is very distorted.

Reagan and Lincoln, two of the finest Republican Presidents, are both my heroes. In fact, Reagan's farwell message ot the American people is on the back cover of my book. Reagan quoted Lincoln often and made it clear that he too greatly admired the Great Emancipator.

Washington was excellent, but Jefferson is over-rated. He was what today is called a "limosine liberal".

Ever man has some faults ;o) Regardless of his shortcomings, he's by far the best President of modern times.
