I don't know who's worse, drug dealers or those who defend them. It's real close.

Maybe about the same....the real jerks are the people who want to lock up people who do not agree with their vision of how people should behave. Liquor store owners and Casino owners do far more damage to society than dope dealers but hypocrits like you and Bill Bennett don't have a problem with those guys because booze and gambling are legal.

I gather from your post that whether or not the prohibited act is a legitimate use of government power is irrelevant; whether or not he committed the prohibited act is irrelevant; the only thing that matters is whether or not he gets caught.

my opinion is that is that is a "hyped up" newspaper account(oh that's right newspapers never lie, look at that paragon of virtue called the New York Times) and the Alachua county jail is not that big and if the person in question had been "raped", the screams would have been heard and he would have been put into a differennt cell.

So your claim is that in fact he wasn't raped, because the jail is not that big? Any facts to back that up? It appears even the jail itself isn't disputing his rape claim - but perhaps you have access to information they do not.

Like I stated before, if the kidnapper and molester in California, screams rape while in jail, I hope you all(pro-drug people on FR) are all as outraged to be consisitent.

I doubt it though, in the pro-drug circles the defense of "screaming rape" in jail for a pot comrade is the knee jerk excuse du jour, IMO.
