You sound like just another closet creationist using evoluncy as a means to defeat your conscious and satiate peer pressure.

I'm an atheist. I just recognize that evolution does not explicitly deny the existence of any gods. No theory in science explicitly denies the existence of any gods, and no matter how often creationists assert that evolution makes a statement as to the existence of a god, they are wrong.

Uh oh, now you have opened him up to all kinds of generalizations.

Just watch, it will be interesting to see where he takes it from here. Laughable, but interesting.

His leaps are beyond me, there is no logic to them, he just is looking for an opening to attack you further, and once he finds the opening, he exploits it.

Just watch. This is a game to him, a very serious game, discredit the evolutionists, it seems to help his faith.

I guess some of us have different ways of praying then others.

Or proving ourselves to our deities.

See, I am faithful, I believe, I attack evolutionists every chance I get. See how faithful and loyal I am?

The problem is the conduct of "science" as it has come to be called, which in essence assumes that God, while he certainly may exist in principle, doesn't count in practice. Could there be a place where reason justly concludes that the natural laws and God meet? A "science" which rules such a question out a priori is a one sided affair.

Using your logic:
So you're an atheist, which means you can't possibly understand creationism.

The effective nonexistence of the supernatural is not a scientific "theory" but that doesn't mean that "science" as practiced by such as you doesn't hold to it. It is an implicit POSTULATE.
