I'm pretty sure that I know my own motives. My intention was to bait ALS or someone who would defend him into calling me on my insults and then toss out the same line that he's been using to defend his use of inane and baseless ad hominem starting from when he attacked me without any provocation whatsoever simply because I asked for some context for a quote. Take a look, my vitrol didn't kick into high gear until after he threw that at me.

What? He's been throwing dishonestly out of context quotes and attacking people with little or no provocation here. He's a complete and total jerk. For you to defend him shows that you don't care that he's a jerk and you don't care about who is right and who is wrong, you just care that your precious worldview is protected, no matter how much an idiot its defenders are.

Besides, you're one to talk. I once asked you to state evolution theory and point out where it mentioned life origins. You claimed to have done this, yet none of the quotes that you presented were actually a stating of evolution theory.
