The funny part is, these people can't stand each other either. They keep forming groups, creating websites to rip us a new one, and then end up hating each other and ripping themselves and their websites to shreds instead. Then they split up into smaller factions and form new websites and it starts up all over again. They must have a dozen or more of these little anti-everything sites going now (not counting the dozens that have already failed or shutdown by their ISPs for various offenses and abuses). Same people fading in and out with new aliases all obsessing and hating FR, some hating the government, some hating the Republicans, some hating America, some hating Jews, blacks, Mexicans, some hating themselves, and most hating life itself. God it must hurt to be so cynical.

Jim, regarding the post referenced in the link you provided, didn't you expect some people to ask you whether or not it was true? I must admit that even though I've been around since 1998, I have never run across that post here, nor have I seen any comments about it. If you have addressed this in the past, and don't feel like rehashing it again, is there a link to the thread where this was previously discussed?

I'm not quite sure why you banned Andante and Darling Lili, but I thought that Andante posed some legitimate questions (#228). Judging from Andante's previous posts on FR, I would hardly call him/her an anti-FReeper. I think he/she was a member who just wanted clarification on that post from 2000. Anytime someone has that much of a change in attitude, natural curiosity takes over.

People will give, but many won't subscribe. Some folks trust their anonymity to JimRob via snail mail check (like me), and won't subscribe if their identity might be tagged.

Ask any active duty military dude or dudette if they'll sign on and give up their anonymity. Jim knows what works, and it isn't easy.

Of course the gummint knows all, but it's the Internet public many of us desire anonymity from.

By the way, I don't want to discount your concerns about internet integrity although ... the great threat on the internet is from PSYCHOS who you may have bitchslapped somewhere along the dusty road.
