I am going to admit something. When I heard about this on the news this morning (here in Washington state), I actually laughed a little bit. My first thought was, "What do you 'human shields'
expect, when you stand with terrorists?"
The idea of one of them - especially an Evergreener (living in Washington state, hearing about the Mumia business, having to work in downtown Seattle on the first day of WTO - well, let's just say I have little tolerance for Evergreeners) - getting flattened by a bulldozer just did not bother me that much. We cannot lose sight of the fact that she made a choice to stand with KILLERS.
Actually - the best thing I can say about this girl is that she was one of the few "human shields" who actually had the guts to put her flesh and blood where her mouth was.
