It's pretty sickening to see posters here laughing and cheering this woman getting killed. I really don't understand it.This site is quickly developing into one of the biggest hate sites on the web. What happened? How can people cheer the deaths of others such as this girl regardless of her politics? Is the voice of the mob becoming so emboldened that they can now openly advocate the actual killing of anyone they chose to label as commie or liberal or leftist? How about just kill everyone who disagrees? How did we degenerate to such a state?

Wow... way to generalize and over-react, there. Hmm...

Try jumping in front of any bulldozer --it's not a very bright thing to do ---sort of like running out in front of a semi to make it stop. Even apart from this Middle Eastern issue what she did was just stupid ---you can't save all stupid people.

Your generalization is a bit too broad. A few people said some nasty things celebrating this girl's death, but many others expressed opposing views, indicating they thought that the unnecessary and rather pointless death of this young woman was a shame.

Oh, yes. FreeRepublic is a hate site. We're part of the "mob." We openly advocate killing anyone we "label as a commie or liberal or leftist."
Hardly. This idiot got herself run over by a bulldozer protecting a terrorist's house. No one advocated killing the idiot; no one labeled the idiot a commie before this little incident. She got herself killed, and she did it whilst protecting the house of a Jihadist fanatic. For this we feel little sorrow.

You are slightly misguided in your contempt, but that is a fair analogy. Keeping in mind this is a posting site and not a binding gov't policy discussion, true feelings are exchanged openly without fear of reprisal.
If you want a controlled sob story for this woman try the DU.
No one here feels this death was intentional except on the part of the deceased.
Sorrow for her family's loss, yes, but as far as a government policy and collective pity for an extremist, ?, no dice.
