SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - A man who threw a dog to its death in a fit of road rage is suing the dog's former owner and a newspaper, alleging mental anguish and seeking more than $1 million in damages. The dog's former owner, Sara McBurnett, responded by calling Andrew Burnett a "pathological liar." An attorney for the San Jose Mercury News called the lawsuit frivolous.

Well who cares? He sure was a cute little thing. It looks like he's actually smiling in that photo.
I took my cat to the vet today, and while I was in the waiting room, a lady came rushing out of one of the examining rooms covering her face and bursting into tears and running out to her car, with (I guess) her husband and another man behind her. Later, the vet went out to the car carrying an old bedspread with the dead body of the lady's cat in it that he had put to sleep. Apparently, the cat had been missing for a week and had been severely injured by either a dog or a car, but managed to drag himself home today. He said he'd rarely seen a cat in that bad shape before. Anyway, I felt sorry for the poor woman and her poor cat. It's always sad to see your pets suffer. If somebody had thrown my cat into traffic, I'd have a case of what my mom calls the screaming-meemies.

No, in this case, I think it actually intensifies the dog's gayness. You sound as if you've had some personal experiences with gay animals.
I've got three Bichon Frises, and nobody would survive an assault on any of them.

That POS dog tossing fool deserves to die miserably. My dog wishes for this as do I. That guy would be a permanent indentation on my Civic.

I despise people who kill dogs. Some of my anger spilled over onto you because I read in your remarks that you don't understand how losing a dog can be as debilitating as losing a family member. Sorry about that.
Don't apologize to the scum sucking freak, Sink - he is a very sick degenerate who takes pleasure in trashing those of us who treasure our dogs. He is a coward who would not dare say these things to your face or my face. Just ignore the maggot.

Very clever. But it's funny how touchy you are about your pets, but how bombastic you are concerning others'. And how clueless you are to your own hypocrisy. You sure you're Catholic?

Nothing hypocritical about criticizing vicious dogs and the people who own them.

I treasure dogs too...ours was over 18 when we put her down....however...she was not our child ....
I have always thought that 3 yrs is ridiculous in this case...child molesters and killers get off sometimes with less....drunk drivers who kill multiple persons get off on less....
why we are crowding our over crowed prisons for politically incorrect crimes is beyond me...our prisons should hold people killers, rapists, molesters, kidnappers, etc etc..
some punishment sure....like 3 yrs duty at the local animal shelter....
now here is a question.....I don't know if this was the case, but suppose YOU were bumped from behind and when you looked in your mirror you saw some lady holding her dog in her lap, while driving ...
wouldn't that make you mad?
we have all these child restraint laws and now we have anti-cellular phone laws while driving....why are there not laws saying you can not hold your pet while driving....???
because if I got hit from behind and that careless driver was more interested in holding her little dog then driving properly...I would be pretty angry as well....

The dog wasn't in her lap. He jumped in her lap after the cretin approached the car.
Her problem was not carrying a handgun in the car. My gun would have been in my hand as he approached because, as Texas law states, "I would have been in fear for my life."
Three years of being someone's girlfriend for this smarmy little creep is perfectly appropriate. Maybe he'll learn to control his temper.
If I had been her, he would be occupying a cemetery plot right now.

Wow, you've given me a name, Mr. Faggy-Dog, who relishes in killing less-faggy dogs and those who would threaten his precious faggy-dogs.
Thanks! :0)

"knowingly and maliciously" printing libel about him. He says all this has caused him "mental pain and anguish, humiliation, embarrassment, fright and shock, and mortification," All this from a man in prison for being a total jerk who cares about nothing or noone. With that attitude he must also be a Democrat.

My dog & I thank you. Ya know, a Rottweiler owner would only have to worry about getting the arm out of the dog's mouth. Point to ponder :-)

I like how you think.
