Could you please address why the moderators are stifling any differences of opinion. Is it because debate is no longer the goal, while Republican activism is? I have noticed no stiffling of debate whatsoever. And I am here regularly.
Perhaps you are focusing on the wrong threads?
Or maybe you infer criticism when only differences of opinion are expressed.
Now the other aspect of this is allowing DNC propagandist free space here. Life is too short. In this case I do hope that J Robinson stiffles those turkeys relentlessly.
Even the ones posting crap as "criticism".

Black helicopters landed in Fresno, and bunches of UN troops in blue helmets are now running it. Hang on while your IP address is cracked.

I agree, but then you get the situation where the libs know they can't win as registered Democrats so they register as Republicans. That's why it is dangerous (maybe too strong a word) to blindly vote "Republican". Gee, ya think?
I figured this out when I was around 25, a long time ago.
I have voted for over 40 years and been a registered Democrat the whole time.
I never look at party affiliation, but know I have voted for the right democrats and independents many times.
And passionately opposed RINOs with equal enthusiasm.

And, in the meantime, you surrender it all back to the Democrats and socialists. Some folks have a terrible time wrapping their minds around a very simple concept:
Are principles meaningful for the individual who never needs to interact with others?
Principles, like laws, are never the end in themselves, but simply a means to an end.
Sometimes survival demands a temporary shift, recognizing that being "dead" and "right" is meaningless.

If we put all of our trust in Repblicans, we'll be stuck on a plantation as surely as the 95% of blacks who vote democrat. If we have no choice but Republicans (like now) the Republicans will vote to increase their power, rather than our liberty (like now).
Politics is messy, but you must have a way to influence your party. In this case, that means take away votes or money.

And I doubt there will be any earth-shattering changes in that anytime in the foreseeable future. As do I.
But let's not lose sight of this:
911 was a "total" surprise; no one predicted it.
It was also definitely an earth-shattering change, whose ripples are still spreading.
And God knows there is plenty of pressure building between them (politicians and bureaucrats) and us (taxpayers worker-drones).

Dude, I've seen lots of things come and go here! Don't talk about immigration or your outta here. I still trust FR despite the recent sprucing up around here. I miss BadJoe, however.

Whatever. I'll take the Republicans over the Democrats any day of the week, thank you.

By the way, I'll put my trust in the Lord. My vote goes to the Republican.

Draconian Patriot 1 and Patriot Act 2
Do you know of anyone other than Islamic terrorists who've been adversely affected by these Acts?
Yeah, bottom feeding subversives and drug dealers. Boo Hoo. On a serious note i do have some reservations as far as some of the TIA provisions. Like why the government has to check into my medical records as well as my cats.

Sometimes I wonder if FR is beginning to morph
from a truly conservative website to
a wholly-owned subsidiary of the RNC.
I've been wonderin' about that too.... !

Well, I'm all broken up about those terrorist's rights.
To: Jim Robinson
Well, the sad reality is, our government is essentially controlled by the two major political parties. And I doubt there will be any earth-shattering changes in that anytime in the foreseeable future. Perhaps the only logical choice for patriotic Americans is to not support either.

Well, the trouble with that is, it'll all go to the Democrats because you are not going to get many democrat voters to go along with your boycott. No thanks. I still like the Republicans a whole helluvalot more that I like the Democrats.

If you find FR not to be your cup of tea, why don't you look for something more to your liking? FR is not going to change. Your constant complaining about it is not going to do anything except make people sore.

"are we no longer in favor of chocolate pudding" Chocolate in any form.....I guess it must be because it is unconstitutional and could be considered racist to prefer chocolate over say vanilla or strawberry or butter pecan. ;-)
