All I see is someone squandering away all the goodwill he built up with the American people after the 9/11 debacle.Ha! Bush is taking out terrorists, starting with one who's flouted international law for 12 years. The American people are behind this war, 3-1, and still overwhelmingly approve of Bush personally.
I guarantee you that he's toast if his little Iraq adventure blows up in his face.
Duh! Yep, he would be, and he knows it.
But this "war" won't last two weeks, and Bush's popularity will be higher than ever.
For one thing I find it hard to believe that this war will only last a couple weeks as you say, when it' taken them literally months to get troops and armaments over there. No, they're going to be there a long time because as I'm sure you're aware whether it's Bosnia or some the other dozens of other trouble spots we're involved in we usually end up staying a long time. Oh and I never underestimate the gullibility and stupidity of the American (Joe Millionaire, Meet the parents, American Idol loving) public, I'm sure all those knowledgeable (?) folks are solidly behind Bush.....just like good sheep.
