Where did you get this theory? Where does it say that the sin in the Garden of Eden was necessary?

Was satan doing god's work in tempting eve? Was eve tempted to disobey God, or commanded to disobey god?

Can you give me an explanation as to why it was sooooooo important that Adam and Eve deliberately sin against a holy God? Or is your god actually holy? Was he just kidding when he commanded Adam and Eve to stay away from that tree?

The Lurkers are counting on you for your explanation. Frankly this intrigues me too.

Where did you get this theory?

There's an advantage to continuing revelation, isn't there?

Where does it say that the sin in the Garden of Eden was necessary?

See the Book of Moses.

Was satan doing god's work in tempting eve?

Of course. Do you think he's a "free agent"? His entire existence is for a purpose, and he plays his role whether he likes it or not.

Was eve tempted to disobey God, or commanded to disobey god?

She was given a mutually-exclusive choice: Either partake not of the fruit, or mulitiply and replenish the earth. Couldn't do both. Chose the latter, because she understood that the plan depended on it.

The plan ALSO depended on the world becoming debased, physical death possible, evil possible, a separation from God necessary so that we could choose good or evil on our own. Only ths way could we progress.

Can you give me an explanation as to why it was sooooooo important that Adam and Eve deliberately sin against a holy God?

I thought you were all for the notion of original sin. What's the purpose of our existence in YOUR cosmography?

Or is your god actually holy? Was he just kidding when he commanded Adam and Eve to stay away from that tree?

No. He gave them a choice, an informed choice.

Really, I wonder about you people. I'm going to start labeling your philosophy the "cosmic pet" theory. We're simply like pet monkeys to an arbitrary, capricious creator who wants us to undergo torment and pointless suffering so that the vast majority of us (the Calvinists will say a PRESELECTED some of us) can go to hell and be tormented for eternity.

This is a "god of LOVE"?

My God is true; he is my Heavenly Father.

Yours is a monster.

The Lurkers are counting on you for your explanation. Frankly this intrigues me too.

You have some explaining to do. Why should we love a God who hates us so bitterly.
