In 1998, he invited three prominent historians to examine the site. Their conclusion: that Gettysburg's interpretive programs had a "pervasive southern sympathy." If I remember correctly, that group included James McPherson. McPherson is a rabid south hating marxist who allows those sentiments to appear in his politics and writings. For him to accuse a site of bias is akin to Jesse Jackson giving a sermon on the sin of adultery.
