What are we to make of residents whose first act as “new Americans” was to break the law? Apologists for illegal immigration (like President Fox) say that poverty in Mexico drives the hopeless to enter the U.S. in search of a better way of life. But it is impossible for this country to absorb such huge numbers of largely poor, illiterate people,
especially when assimilation is the last thing they have in mind. Close the border with whatever it takes, deadly force has become neccisary, IMO
