Why is it morally ethical to enforce our borders? Why is it morally ethical to prevent lawbreakers from breaking the law? It may be a sin to slam the door on the less fortunate. Moral law supercedes civil laws in such cases. I can't really answer that. My personal feelings may not be in line with higher moral law.
