Israel/Church adopted/born adulterous wife yet to be reconcilled/spotless bride awaiting her groom That does not address woodys question if God has two seperate wives Steve..I say Jews and Gentiles MUST come to Christ the same way..by faith ..not animal sacrifices, not the law ..and IF they come by faith they are part of the church..they are ingrafted into the family just as your adopted son was..ONE Bride not two...the church.. (BTW isnt Israel referred to as HE in hosea?)

Both Israel and the Church come by faith in the Messiah. All of the sacrifices pointed to Him. The entire Tabernacle pointed to Him.
Where in Hosea is Israel a he? The analogy is that Hosea's wife pictures Israel.

Actually, I think
we are the ones ingrafted, Israel the natural branches.
(Israel is referred to as lots of things in Hosea. She is typified by an unfaithful wife, children of the unfaithful wife -- a son, Jezreel; a daughter, "No compassion" ; and another son, "Not my people" --, a vine in chp 10, and a rebellious son in chp 11.)
Hosea's one of the most interesting books of the OT.

Jews and Gentiles I believe from my reading of the scriptures that these are one and the same
