So Steve, you don't mind paying people not to work? You don't mind paying teens to have kids and drop out of school? You don't mind having your right (and the means)to defend yourself and your family in your own home taken away from you? The Republican's don't share your world view 100%, so you'll give an election to a Democrat/Socialist/Nazi? Do you really want the Feds telling you that you can't buy an SUV or pick-up truck? These are all things that the Dems stand for. They also stand for letting criminals on the streets. They don't mind rapists or child molesters. Heck, they want child molesters to live in your neighborhood; and they don't want you to know who they are!

Yet, you'll stand on "pricipal"; right?

The Republicans are trying to go in the right direction when compared to the Socalist/Democrat party. Sure, they don't go nearly far enough, they want to stop 1/4 of the way there. However, the S/D party is going in the opposite direction. Which train will take you closer to your goal?

In Alabama the Libs may have cost us the governorship. They are still sorting out descrepancies and Riley (R) may prevail. But if he doesn't his defeat is at the hands of the spoiler libs. Libs only have one strategy and its flawed. They think if enough spoiled elections occur, Republicans will cave and adopt their extreme views. It's not gonna happen. Republicans are too busy trying to suck in votes from the middle where the real battleground is. Libs don't understand this math or don't care.

If Republican/Socialists weren't just as addicted to government spending as Democrat/Socialists, there wouldn't be a Libertarian Party.

Really? Somebody better tell Elizabeth Dole that then. Dole, in her wisdom, has decided the federal government should pass a law requiring the states to drug test teens before receiving their driver's license. If they don't according to her, they don't get to step up to the national teat and receive their influx of road money.

Now this would be the same Elizabeth Dole that did the same thing in regards to seatbelts and speed limits. I was under the mistaken assumption that the national government could not interfere with domestic affairs of the states. However I realize this is a mistaken assumption since no politician knows what the Constitution says and the 10th Amendment was thrown down the drain 140 years ago.

Personally, I'm glad Giddy got in. I'm glad the Republicans won the Senate and the House. That way they have no more excuses. It's time to crap or get off the pot

You know, you have a colossal set of stones. On the one hand you and your sycophants do everything but a nautch dance on the heads of libertarians, Buchananites, Keyesters, Constitutionalists and so forth, calling us (collectively) one-percenters and worse, yet blaming us when your half of the statist party loses. I got two words for you... BITE ME. When you nimrods can hold a civil conversation with us and address ISSUES and when your party can run candidates WORTH voting for, then I for one would LOVE to have that option! Until then, take your pasty-faced self and all your whining over to DU or somewhere that they'll APPRECIATE you and your bs tactics.
