While I am VERY excited about a trifecta for the GOP, and all it means to the DNC, I will wait to see what the GOP will do over the next two years that it holds the House, Senate, and Presidency.
Will we get the serious changes that this country needs to keep from getting closer to a total breakdown? Will the GOP throw it all away under the guise of "bi-partisanship"?
Frankly, I have high hopes, but will be cautious on declaring victory for now.

Welcome to the club! I have had the same fears ever since Bush won (ok, I'm a Keyes man, but Forbes would have been ok too). I've been very uncomfortable with the "new tone" concept from day 1. I hate what Bush has given the D/S party, and the fact that he's gotten nothing in return.

I will wait to see what the GOP will do over the next two years that it holds the House, Senate, and Presidency. By all probability the Dems will tie the Senate in knots and the Republican excuse about not getting their agenda out will be that their majority is not big enough to stop a filibuster. I dispise the Dems but one has to give the devil his due sometimes, they know how to use the rules to their advantage and are bold about it. The Pubs never learned how to opperate well in the minority. (Then again the cynical look held by some would be they they intentionally don't want to as they agree with the Dem agenda in spirit differing only in degree)
