I agree with most of the Libertarian platform, but boy do they have some bizarro collection of candidates. When Corzine beat out Bob Franks for Senator from NJ, the Libertarian candidate was the lead singer of The Smithereens.

Of course, there's been quite a few bizarro bonehead Republicans over the years as well.

Were I Republican we would have to face each other at 20 paces. But I'm an independent and side with the founding fathers and their dire warnings to never allow our country to degenerate into a political party system. A pox on all their houses.
