Six boys face animal cruelty charges after attacking cat in Galveston

(10/21/02) — Six Galveston boys are facing animal cruelty charges after a shocking attack on a cat. Police say the boys attached the cat to a fence by wrapping its limbs around the metal wiring.
They allegedly pulled one of the cat's paws off in the process. Police say after that, they all threw rocks as heavy as a pound at the cat. Its owner heard the cat screaming and called police.
Police took the five 10-year-olds and one 11-year-old to juvenile detention, but they're all out this morning. Their parents picked them up after midnight.
Because of a cat?????????????????????? What a damned foolish statement. Consevatism is not takin' sreiously because of your damn stance on the Homo's. PERIOD!
I would be willing to lay down big money that most "Conservatives" who are "Sensitive" to the faggots, also side with you on this subject of the importance level of a few kids wasting a cat!

Sadly the parents would be jailed. But that would be a good solution otherwise. Or make them get a cat and care for it 24x7, catering to it's kitty whims. If they don't, BAM dad puts a whooping the size of Texas on em. This thread is getting fun ;)

When we were kids we used to run across stray cats every once in a while and place them between the aluminum door and the wood door of homes who have very large dogs at 3:00 in the morning. Ring the bell-the home porch light goes on-the wood door opens and all hell breaks lose!

People use something like this to rid them selves of the burden of responsiblity. There is a lot of "Conservatism" talk on this thread. Well, real conservatism, Classic Liberalism if you will, would give many here a poor grade at evaluation time.
Our schools suck, our society as a whole sucks, and these folks want to blame a few little boys who don't think much of a cat. Rest assured, if it was a Rat, or a mole, or any Pest, this conversation would not be happening.

Ah ... now, we get to the crux of the matter. Sounds like experience talking. That could explain the "Me and my friends did some crazy things when we were young...I turned out just fine" entry earlier.
And, as kids, what were you doing out on the streets at 3:00 in the morning? What about the responsibility of YOUR parents? Juvy hall sounds just about right.
Sorry, I can only speak for myself, but when anyone tortures any animal, I will have a problem with it. I was raised to respect and cherish ALL life that God created.
