[history]
Some wit once defined a fanatic as a person who redoubles his effort just as he loses sight of his objective. That wit must have been thinking of U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft and Drug Enforcement Administrator Asa Hutchinson.
Their objective is supposed to be chasing drug traffickers who sell dangerous drugs such as methamphetamines and heroin to children. Instead, they are raiding plots that supply medical marijuana to grandmothers with cancer under the terms of California's Proposition 215.

The DEA doesn't draw any distinctions between ditch weed/hemp and marijuana, nor does Congress.

Every time Ashcroft and the DEA go after medical marijuana users, life gets a little easier on traffickers in methamphetamines and heroin. That's something even a fanatic should be able to understand. It's much easier to go after a few mellow folks growing weed that the truly dangerous criminals distributing meth. We shouldn't expect law enforcement to put themselves in danger and arrest genuine threats to society, that would be too much to ask of them.
And of course we can't expect them to actually obey the Constitution, as they can do whatever they want because Roscoe and CJ say so.

You're incoherent...not surprising for a Rooseveltian Republican. ;^)

Your tuneless wail is upsetting the dogs. You are incoherent, muddled, merely repeating your very low-level conditioning. I'm positive dogs dislike you.
Shut up and go back to delivering do-nuts!
You are incoherent Is that your thing for today or you having trouble understanding reality? Dope will do that you know. How's it going there in Socialist Canada?

I take it then that you feel we shouldn't protect our children or our borders? So we are supposed to protect our children from the big bad Hispanics by shooting everyone crossing the border? That's ridiculus.

Check your post #37...it's incoherent.
Socialist Canada is pretty much in the same glue as Socialist America, FYI.

Exactly why is using deadly force to stem the invasion of our southern border and the substantial portion of the drug traffic that flows in with that invasion, wrong?
Remember, in my solution these criminal invaders are willingly and knowingly placing their own lives at risk.

You just take your pill and everything will be alright.

I have heard it said that marijuana is a major cash crop in Kentucky from some LE's that live there. These are drug producers, not the same thing as wild hemp.A lot of them used to run 'shine, too. They make more money growing ganja now. Free enterprise in action, good God how that must rile these globalist/statists.

To regulate commerce with foreign nations, and among the several states, and with the Indian tribes
This gives the feds the right to control sales, not use. If you support this distorted interpetation of the commerce clause don't complain about all the other things it's been twisted to allow.

Don't worry, Bee, our goal is to catch and punish all who flout the law -- that's the "medicine" that will best serve our public health.
