Perhaps someone better-versed in this sort of thing will help me out here, but I heard or read somewhere that she might have been kept in a refrigerator, which would have kept the body "fresh" for the flies. If this is so, then I would say it's possible Damon killed her, stashed her in a fridge or freezer, and on his wild desert trip on the 16th, dropped her off at Dehesa to be "discovered." Just a theory, and note that in no way should it be construed as factual. (For the lurking jackals hoping to holler "lawsuit!")

It's just so danged depressing to think about her maybe being alive. I just sort of "sweep" it out of my brain, but it kept bugging me last night.

When I woke up and saw the speculation about maybe the vD's purposely set DW up, and thought about Brenda's 911 call (six feet tall, brown hair, green eyes), it made things start clicking again. Maybe all the "slutty" behavior was a distraction. Maybe all the sex talk is just sleight of hand so that we don't look where they don't want us to look.

I would expect some time in the future to hear that there are porn flicks somewhere showing her and perhaps even, sadly, her death.

If Damon had anything to do with it, I would bet she was alive for that time, as horrific as that is to conteplate. A creepy neighbor kidnapping, raping a killing a little girl, we have been primed to accept, they're betting the other possibilities are too awful for most people to consider seriously.

From my understanding, refrigeration will slow decay on the outside, but not on the inside. (trying not to get gross)

A body can be frozen to help stop decay, but cell degeneration happens when a body is frozen, and is detectable by any forensic expert worth a hill of beans.
