Where did this forum come from? I've done a search on Smokey, and Backroom, and I'm puzzled. What's the purpose, and what stuff gets posted here?

Aha! Thanks to someone on the Klayman thread, I found the Smokey Backroom forum on the latest posts page on the right under, My Forums.

Actually, if you click your name in the upper right-hand corner of the main page and then select REVIEW....you can see all the threads(based on your Preference parameters) for all Forums you subscribe to.

I haven't found a way to subscribe to The Smokey Backroom, however. So I don't know if this is going to be an option. Shall we ask?

BTW........I 'stumbled' onto that Review function! Saves time in a way!

I think "subscribing" means making it one of the sidebars. I'll have to wait to see how it works out, but The Smokey Backroom almost sounds like a combination of a back alley and Time Out, LOL.

I just thought of a situation..and I wonder how it will be handled. Say you have 10 or so folks........calmly discussing/debating. Enter X and Y. X and Y are abusive and sling the occasional profanity.

Will X and Y have their posts removed by the moderator...or will the thread be bumped to the SBRoom where the other posters have their choice of: 1)enduring X and Y or 2)be forced to cease their participation in the thread?

Currently, you can only subscribe to topics. The Smokey Backroom has only one topic, Heated Discussion, subscribing to that will effectively get you everything back here.

Scroll up to the top of this thread, just below the article part, find the TOPICS: Heated Discussion, click that, then click "Subscribe to this Topic" (sounds more complicated than it is.)
