You simply cannot deal with them in a normal, civilized manner, because they will never extend the same courtsey to you. That is not the audience that BadJoe was trying to reach.

There is no point being civil to the AFers. Period. Any attempt at such is pointless. If and when I do post at LibertyPost, I will treat the people there who are debating real liberty topics with respect. I have misgivings. FR was supposed to be THE site for activism on the conservative side.

I might be able to take your remarks seriously if I thought they were sincere, but since you chose not to rebuke similiar or worse statements by others, I can only determine you have another agenda. Coupled with your history of standing on the sidelines and throwing mud at the work of others rather than contributing or offering useful advice, your input has about zero value in my eyes.

And BTW, I did not single handedly organize the cruise, (contrary to your assertion I did elsewhere) there was a committee and it was run democratically.

No one has said that liberty is tinfoil land, except for you in your replies to Jim. He has said that he doesn't want the tinfoil stuff. You have expanded that comment to include lots that he doesn't.

If you do a search just on the word "liberty", you will see many discussions of the very topic (and there are many that are about that subject but do not have the word liberty in the topic).

According to the operators of the site, the rules you quoted in your post apparently don't apply to the special FR section where BADJOE posted his appeal. See Posts 691 and 696 in the linked section. From what I was able to gather, about the only thing you're not allowed to do in this section is post personal information. Other than that, from what I gather, no holds are barred.

So, much like the critters on Orwell's animal farm, some LibertyPost posters and venues are apparently more equal than others.
