This is a very unfair, immature criticism. Nearly all children would be much better off if they had been "goody-two-shoes" and did exactly what their parents told them to do. To think otherwise is ignorance. Obviously, at a certain point, "children" need to be making their own decisions. But they are forced to make these decisions too soon in the current social situation.
