The South may have lost but the North pursued an unjust and illegitimate war against a sovereign nation. The term "federal government" may have been used before 1860, but what we know today as the federal government did not exist before then and owes its birth to that unjust war. You say "get over it" but we will not get over it as long as that truth remains suppressed.

One point, many southerners feel that the main source of our worst problems in these United States, from the beginning and to this day, has been Yankees. But understand, not all northerners are considered Yankees. We believe that there are many good people in the north.
