Health researchers are sounding the alarm after noticing more people refusing life-saving blood transfusions because they come from vaccinated donors.
In a study out of Vanderbilt University Medical Center, 15 patients or families of patients who needed blood transfusions rejected them because they requested blood from donors who were not vaccinated.
The majority of patients were children or teenagers.
The refusal led one patient to go into shock, another to develop anemia and others to have their surgeries delayed.
Now, doctors involved say they fear more Americans, spurred by vaccine-suspicious health secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr, will follow.
Over a two-year period, the researchers found requests for non-anonymous - meaning patients can choose specific donors for their transfusion - had increased because the patients specifically wanted blood from unvaccinated individuals.
The patients had told doctors they wanted unvaccinated blood because they believed it was safer, but their exact safety concerns are unclear.
Researchers noted that while the total number of these donations was small, the requests caused delayed care and could have contributed to complications of not receiving a timely blood transfusion, which can include organ failure, stroke and death.
Some anti-vaxxers also believe receiving blood from a vaccinated donor will cause them to suffer the serious but extremely rare side effects associated with the shot, such as a kind of heart inflammation called myocarditis.
The misinformation has come as RFK Jr has expressed doubts about the safety of Covid vaccines and referred to the shot as 'the deadliest vaccine ever made.'
However, there is no evidence that being vaccinated against Covid or any other vaccine-preventable illness alters the blood in any significant manner. Blood centers also do not track the vaccination status of donors.

I was dying from sepsis and I was told that a red blood cell transfusion would save me (it did). I didn’t stop to ask about whether or not the donor had been vaccinated, and for what. I just said, “Whatever it takes.”
Pure blood here, O-, completely non-reactive, never had CMV, Toxoplasmosis, an STD, or Herpes.
Regularly gave PowerRed donations to the Red Cross. I was one of their favorite Universal donors for patients with hemophilia, compromised immune systems, and other issues, until they got all woke and officious about my (lack of) vaccination status.
Haven’t responded to one of their phone calls, emails or texts since, and I never will again.
I still do directed donations for family and friends, but you have to plan ahead, and may need an attorney to force the issue, as most hospitals have a well-rehearsed song and dance routine as to why it is “impossible.” It takes time to legally and mentally curb stomp the opposition into submission.
The hospitals desperately want my blood, but they don’t want YOU to get it.
The worst and most irredeemably evil are the ones who will enthusiastically and verbally agree up until the time of donation but will refuse to give you anything in writing and expect you to still donate. I’ve walked out on more than one. A particularly stupid specimen made the mistake of grabbing me to stop me from leaving. Somehow their fingers got tangled up in my shirt and ended up broken and disfigured. I just kept walking.

Maybe they have, and don’t want to publish the results. Kind of like Pfizer trying to bury their results for their product .

RFK Jr. would be correct, not the liars at the Daily Mail. Most folks are not asking for unvaxed blood due to RFK Jr ... they’ve educated themselves and know what the score is regarding the genetic therapy that is called a vax but isn’t. They also probably know plenty of folks with serious adverse effects, such as cancer and heart issues, including the ultimate adverse effect: death.

I think I heard years ago, they also allow HIV patients to give blood now.
Yes, they do trace it. They message us to let us know when our donations are used. (They could be lying, I suppose) Both my husband and I donate blood and we are both pure bloods. I told my husband, when we donated last week, that they should pay us big money for our blood.

4 extended family vaxxed to the hilt..one has just passed,rest not doing great....all cancers...my brother died from parkinsons complications..not surprised if his health got worse with that damn vaxx..
