A widely condemned Israeli settlement plan that would cut across land which the Palestinians seek for a state received final approval on Wednesday, according to a statement from Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich.
The approval of the E1 project, which would bisect the occupied West Bank and cut it off from East Jerusalem, was announced last week by Smotrich and received final go-ahead from a defense ministry planning commission on Wednesday, he said. […]
A German government spokesperson commenting on the announcement told reporters on Wednesday that settlement construction violates international law and “hinders a negotiated two-state solution and an end to the Israeli occupation of the West Bank”. […]
Most of the international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law. Israel disputes this, citing historical and biblical ties to the area and saying the settlements provide strategic depth and security. …

Can I have a state of my own if I whine and complain long enough? Of course not—I don’t hate Jews.
Is not the “West Bank” part of the country of Israel since Israel was founded in 1948?????
“Palestine” has NEVER been a nation or state...It is a group of people calling themselves “Palestinians”...Actually, they are immigrants (illegal?) from Iran, Lebanon, Egypt, and elsewhere...

...The E1 plan, which has been under discussion for decades, includes approximately 3,400 new housing units. Its approval marks a significant step toward implementing long-standing development proposals in the area...
...Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich praised the decision, calling it a “historic” move. “In E1, we are finally fulfilling promises made years ago. This is a defining moment for settlement, for national security, and for the State of Israel,” Smotrich said...
A good short video Reuters’ journalists ought to watch published on Amir Tsarfati’s site:
Jordan stole the land from Israel in 1948, then Israel took it back in 1967. You're not supposed to know that the land was stolen from Israel to begin with.
The left wants us to believe it had been part of Jordan for thousands of years until the Jews "stole" it. When the reality is that Jordan didn't exist, just like Israel didn't exist, until the Ottoman Empire made the bonehead decision to join WW1 on the wrong side. It was a FAFO moment and the OE was carved up. With Israel getting a sliver of land equivalent to the size of New Jersey, while the crybaby Muslims got everything else that was in the OE. And the Muslims claim they were shortchanged. LOL
Thank you for that info...

Map of Middle East today:
And the Ottomans did not call it Palestine. They called it the Sanjak or the Mutasarrifate of Al-Quds, a part of the larger Syria.
Fine, then just annex the entire area and give citizenship to all its inhabitants.
The reason the west (mainly England and France) carved up the Middle East however they saw fit was pure FAFO. The Ottoman Empire joined WW1 on the losing side. Big mistake.
Especially with the history of the Ottoman Empire doing slave raids in Europe (I've read it's anywhere from 300K to 1.2 million white slaves taken to the OE). The OE had gotten slaves from Mediterranean nations and even as far up as the British Isles, but they hadn't gone that far in about a century before WW1. Yet the OE was still getting slaves from Eastern Europe until they finally banned it in 1908 -- shortly before WW1. So you can understand that Europeans weren't too caring about the OE after the OE joined WW1.
It needs to be ethnically cleansed first, Carthage-style. Can't give citizenship to murderous savages.
And with that remark you just justified every Muslim terrorist about the true nature of Israel. Half of the population is Arab and is not going anywhere. They have as much right to a state as the Jews. Either give them their own or join the two together in one state. Choose wisely but, like it or not, these are the only two choices.
After the Israeli War of Independence the Arab Muslim countries tossed their Jews out and stole the land owned by these Jews. It amounts to five times the size of Israel. The great majority of the displaced Jews settled in Israel.
When will Israel be compensated for this land thievery by the Arab countries?
Nonsense. Particularly since that is what every Mahometan terrorist wants to do to every Jew and Christian.
The “Palestinians” do not want their own state, nor do they want Israeli citizenship. They want to destroy Israel.
So they're going to hate the Jews even more than they do now? You know that they would exterminate every Jew right now if they had the means and opportunity.
I am under no delusion who my mortal enemies are, and I want them dead first. Oderint dum metuant.
I must preface my remarks with the assertion that I believe that the Jews presently living in the former Mandate of Palestine now have every right to live there in peace, as do the Arabs. But I must ask, what right did the Jewish minority in 1948 (they made up only 1/3 of the population) have to declare the creation of a Jewish state without approval of the Arab majority? And how can they claim ownership over territories that were overwhelmingly Arab?
Then separate them into two different states. And answer me, why do the Israeli Arabs not show the same mentality towards the Jews? Despite dreams by some, the Arab population is not going anywhere. Nor, despite dreams by the Arabs, is the Jewish population. They both need to accept the reality that both populations will remain and work out a way to live in peace.
