He resigned from the job, and Parliament is out-of-session.
His liberal party is in the process of picking his replacement from among the top London/WEF controlled globohomo socialists who make up the Liberal Party.
We forget that Canada is still connected to the UK - and all that represents.

A country with a trade surplus like Canada is at an inherent disadvantage in a trade war in the long run. Trudeau thinks that in the short run, Canada will unite behind the Liberals and that pain imposed on the swing states of the upper mid west will force Trump to back down. Not gonna happen.

Putin is our enemy for a lot of reasons and no reasonable person would say he is friendly.
Canada is our ally but are they really friendly?
I say Canada is not really friendly and they are paid quite handsomely to be our ally with a predatory trade deficit.
Trump is saying to allies treat each other FAIRLY.
All Trump is seeking is for the United States to be treated with respect and fairness.
My take: Obama, in all three terms, worked hard to reduce the strength of the US to whittle us down to the size of the other countries. And Trump is simply undoing it.
We could and should have avoided most (if not all) of this had we had an adult in charge of things and that they would have sat down with Trump way earlier and worked with him (kind of like Danielle Smith in Alberta).
My response to liberals, when they say Trump is dumb, is that he’s beating the collective liberal intellgence like an old drum. If Trump is so dumb, when is he beating the collective liberalism handily?
