A fit and healthy teenage boy suddenly died during wrestling practice after suffering a medical emergency.

Freddy Espinal, a 17-year-old aspiring police officer, tragically died on Sunday, prompting an outpouring of grief from his tightknit Massachusetts community.

More than 100 friends and students from Peabody gathered on Tuesday night to farewell the popular, charismatic student.

His girlfriend, Gisella Candido, told the crowd at the vigil that Freddie 'was stubborn, caring, [and] would always go out of his way to make sure that people were OK.'

'At first, it was unbelievable. I was just with him on Friday. Like, I just saw him. I was just hugging him, holding him and then, like, just like that, it's like, he's gone.'

District Attorney Paul Tucker worked with Espinal over the summer after meeting with the teenager and his dad 'to talk about his interest in becoming a police officer someday.'

At the time, he described Espinal as a 'respectful, polite and personable young man who will follow his dream and succeed.'

On Tuesday, he issued a moving tribute, noting 'life sometimes presents unimaginable tragedies, and this being one hurts so many to the core.

'Freddy’s life was cut short by a medical emergency while at wrestling practice.

'His close knit family, friends and classmates are left in grief wondering why.

At least his friends and classmates know what experimental substance could not possibly have been involved

Not another sport in high school more demanding when strenuous training is involved. Sounded like a good kid. Prayers for family and friends.

I keep waiting for the CDC to declare “coincidence” as the number one killer of young people.

It sure seems and feels like more of this is happening than can be explained away as natural causes from undiagnosed heart defect or rhythm, or leaky blood vessel aneurysm bursting. Same thing with autism and allergies, particularly severe peanut allergies. an honest attempt to study the rates of these occurring over the last 50 years would be useful.

There is a good chance that the young man was very dehydrated while wrestling. I was a wrestler from 4th grade through high school and friend of mine on my high school team was so dehydrated that he went into convulsions during a match. I remember some of my more fanatical teammates used to wrap themselves in garbage bags and jog in place on the five hour bus ride to the meet to make weight.

That’s not saying that the Covid shot might not have had an effect.

I hear you. Jason Kelsey mentioned in one of his pod casts that wrestling on high school and college wrestling was the most difficult training he ever had.

Oh c’mon everyone, this sort of thing happened “all the time” before the jab. Sure, young healthy athletes in their teens and 20s dropping like flies on the playing field for no apparent reason. It was in the news...a lot.

You can’t blame the vax for this.
Right?

I should have mentioned that my friend told me the medics told him his blood was like syrup and that he could have died. My friend was a bit of a fabulist and I was young and immortal so I kind of blew it off.

Every year towards the end of November the wrestling team and the basketball team used to play a game of basketball instead of practice. We wrestlers physically dominated them and usually won the game every year because of our conditioning. I’m sure in a real game we would’ve gotten a lot of fouls for technique but they lost consistently. It usually stayed a friendly game because the football coach insisted that his players either wrestle or play basketball to keep in condition.

An open, honest autopsy might help. Jab History and histological examination of cardiac tissue for sure. Plus an examination of the usual medical suspects(PED,clots pain killers ,(etc),. Probably too much grief for now.

“There is no uptick in sudden cardiac arrest or death in athletes due to COVID-19 or from COVID vaccinations. This is total misinformation,” Dr. Jonathan Drezner told us in an emailed statement. Drezner is the director of the UW Medicine Center for Sports Cardiology at the University of Washington, editor in chief of the British Journal of Sports Medicine, and a team physician for the Seattle Seahawks, the OL Reign soccer team and the University of Washington Huskies.

More than 2,000 children and adolescents in the U.S. die from sudden cardiac arrest every year, according to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and two-thirds of the deaths “occur during exercise or activity.” Among young athletes, sudden cardiac arrest is the leading cause of death, according to CHOP.

And big Pharma and the gubmt keep advertising and telling us to be sure to get the latest and greatest Covid jab and particularly for the kids and the elderly. For the world’s ruling elite, it’s all just business. Just my opinion.

I was in the best shape of my live in high school doing wrestling cause I worked my ass off and the coaches were hard core.

most of the kids in Phys Ed hated me,
I remember the teacher Gigi telling me I was supposed to use both arms to do pushups, and the other kids telling me that I was hogging the ball during socker practice

I could never quite do an Iron Cross in gymnastics but I tried really hard

My grand nephew trained for wrestling in the Fall, in the winter he wrestled. As a treat he played Volleyball in the Spring.
