I got robbed at gunpoint at a McDonald's drive-thru in the center of Philadelphia some years ago, on the main Broad Street, a few blocks from City Hall. You have to go behind the building and exit into a side street and then back to the main street. A guy stuck a handgun right in the window at my face. I gave him all the money I had on me, which wasn't much, and then started praying for him. He said, "Shut up, lady," but he went away.
God protected me that day.
Many years ago at night a man opened my passenger side car door while I was in a drive thru in San Diego. He started out talking about how he was a Christian and needed a ride somewhere. Then he started talking about how he was just released from prison
When I got up to the drive-thru window I asked the employee to call the police. The man left my car immediately. I always drive with all doors locked these days.
