I do note the effort in the media to label these protests "non-violent". Blockading roads is not non-violent. Keeping people by physical force from going about their daily lives is not non-violent. Preventing emergency medical aid for those in extremis is very much not non-violent.

Old bicycle theft chains with locks on the end is the answer. Drag their buts to the curb, wrap that chain around them and to the nearest sign on the curb, insert the teeth into the lock, spin the number tumblers and get in your car and drive off.

The protest was quickly dispersed as Metropolitan police quickly arrived and gave warnings, causing the protestors to leave. As they stood, officers announced they were all under arrest.
