I really feel sorry for her and all those of her generation, I just hope it’s not contagious.
Be aware: the sons of several of my friends have married liberal women, who said they were "converted" to conservatism by their man while engaged, only to revert to liberal haters once married.They made their husbands' and in-laws' lives hell, withheld the children and messed with their minds, and separated their man from his family of origin or took him in divorce and custody suits for all they could get, including years of his future options. Today's liberal judges despise conservative men and repudiate the values conservatives want for their kids. There will be no justice for wronged spouses; rather, more punishment.
I wish I were making this up; but I'm not. And I'm a woman.
DO NOT marry a woman who is not fully conservative before you met her, and from a conservative family, preferably a conservatively evangelical, Catholic or Jewish family according to your own faith.
AVOID getting sexually involved with a woman if you know or have doubts that she is good marriage material for your particular needs and wants. If you just can't wait for marriage, understand that unmarried sex (or even married sex without protection) is one of the biggest risks a man will ever take outside of a combat battlefield. Take responsibility for the fact that sex is a life-and-death risk like a loaded gun. DO NOT create a pregnancy through your own negligence—or you will more likely than not experience severely negative consequences.
PREPARE yourself spiritually to be a man, a husband, and a father. Don't just back into it and then wonder what happened. Consider taking a multi-unit course of premarital instruction, but not from a liberal.
If you have love and high hopes for children, or if you or your parents have more of an estate than she does, consider a pre-nuptial agreement covering both custody and finances. But approach it as a mutually beneficial assurance and work it out with a mediator or counselor before finalizing it with an attorney—attorneys largely work as adversaries; they make more money by sowing conflict.
The way the “no-fault” family courts are today, the fun is over.

Those are competing objectives. It’s not a “both”, it’s an “either/or” as ‘progressive’ aka ‘liberal’ men do not want to pay for a first date, won’t open the door, and feel you should take care of yourself while they are in the basement eating Cheetos, drinking Bud Light after they pick up their new outfits from Target.

And, sadly, this is exactly what will be. But, hey girl, you do you and never reassess where you’re coming from. If she wants a relationship that is any more noncommittal and one-sided, she can get herself a cat (or three).
Alternatively you could ask your date to go to a shooting range. The response would be very telling.

This is so true. Singles take heed! We are living the nightmare of sin consequences right now. Best to be avoided altogether beforehand!! And that includes no extra-marital sex. It is indeed a loaded gun filled with death and destruction.
God bless you, drSteve. I hear you and sympathize. Feminism has morphed into something truly evil in the universities and the family courts.
I wish my ex had followed those principles, as well. Women can also get screwed by the no-fault system. Two of the traditional grounds—infidelity and mental cruelty—both deserve a penalty, both as a deterrent and if a divorce does result; but in no-fault, there is none. The one who tried harder to uphold the marriage vows gets trampled further.
