Good. As the article said, the virus is highly contagious and your dog can get it by merely being in the area an infected dog poops.
My thought as well, unfortunately.
Then again it could be from natural causes, who knows?
Sad.
Irresponsible pet owners.
Parvo and the vaccine has been around for a long time. It’s irresponsible pet owners who are causing the uptick in reporting.
Folks, before you get your dogs vaxxed, take a good look at the vaxxes offered.
A really good look.
I’m wondering, if there is a spike in Parvo, if it’s vaxx-related.
Take a look at the vaxxes now offered for Parvo.
The only thing owners may be guilty of is ignorance.
Something else to consider.
Fomites are a means of transmission for Parvo.
Wonder if any of the outbreaks are nosocomial, cases picked up at the vet.
Especially with veterinary chains buying up so many practices, my bet is that to control costs, infection control gets short shrift.
I don’t believe it for a second. If word got out that a veterinary clinic was responsible for spreading parvo through unsanitary practices, it would be shut down in a heartbeat. I’m also sure that if a dog or other animal comes though the clinic with a diagnosis of parvo, the vet would order a thorough decontamination of the whole building and grounds outside.
A reciprocating rotary saw?
++++++++++++++
Correct. Rotates forward and reverse in a reciporcating fashion. Cutting tool makes cylindrical cuts, allowing the joint to be repositoned.
