This feels wrong. 77 and he didn’t really do anything new it seems. Just some crazy violent guy finding out about his past and thinking he could get the thrill of committing an excused murder against a helpless old man. I say he deserves to rot in jail.
He was stalking the guy's children to the point of him having a protective order in the past, which apparently had recently lapsed. If you've ever heard the ludicrous decisions in family courts in this country, you would understand. Many, many children are killed or harmed due to utterly stupid judicial orders more favorable to the perp class than the child or domestic partner victim class.
