In a recent survey, Gallup discovered that 46% of Americans, nearly half the country, have a gun in their home, and 33% said that they “personally” own a gun.
In the survey of 1,009 adults, aged 18 and older, Gallup asked, “Do you have a gun in your home?”
In response, 46% said they have a “gun in home or elsewhere on property,” and 33% said they “personally own a gun.”
“Personal gun ownership has averaged 30% since 2005, when it was first measured,” reported Gallup. “Household gun ownership was higher in the early 1990s than it is now, but since 1996, 43% of U.S. adults on average have said there is a gun in their household.” […]
On the political side, 66% of Republicans live in a home with a gun, 42% of independents said the same, and 31% of Democrats. …

Well, more like I don’t respond to polls.
Since it’s Gallup, it can be safely taken as a joke.
😂😂👍. Roger that! If the number isn’t in my contacts——DEclined.
With cops who don’t give a sh*t and Feddies who are out to get my American ass for being an non-black or brown American, I wouldn’t feel safe without a gun in the house. This is the RATS’ new, “Every Man for Himself” America.
Do better Americans!
(If someone called your home and asked if you owned a firearm, or if there was one in your home, would you answer honestly?)
They didn’t ask around here. Closer to 100%. It is traditional.
Yet somehow there were more than 7 million new gun buyers just in ten months in 2020 and 5.4 million new gun buyers in 2021.

How were these new gun buyers supposedly contributing to a decline in household gun ownership? Were they all homeless?
I imagine all of the RATs’ “refreegeez” had to lie too. Especially when, anyone who deals in drugs and human trafficking without owning a gun is already dead.
I’ll bet it’s more.
I’m sure a lot of people would choose to not answer or just lie and say no so that there is no record anywhere of their answer.
I don’t need a gun. All may neighbors have them and they love shootin’ them.
“Of course, take into consideration just how many conservatives would actually engage with Gallup. If any.”
Any SMART conservative would say ‘no gun here’, given that you cannot be sure who’s on the other end of the line. But wow, that is a really high number who still answer ‘yes’!
Any smart conservative would not acknowledge Gallup’s existence.
My VA Hospital in San Francisco has begun slipping little questions to the patient about gun ownership in their home.
It usually happens when I get my vitals done, prior to my appointments. “Vitals”, meaning when the nurse takes my blood pressure, temp and weight. In the last Oh, four years, they will ask personal questions; “Have you had any suicidal thoughts recently? Do you feel safe where you live?
Does anyone own a gun where you live?
So on and so forth.
I already know better than to spill all the beans.
I don’t want the Govt. poking it’s nose around in my private life anymore than they already may be doing.
So I ‘just say ‘No’. They do not have ‘the need to know’ about every little detail of my existence.
My interactions with VA are similar.
“Do you want to hurt yourself”?
“Do you want to hurt anybody”?
“Do want a flu shot”?
That is about it.
they don’t ask about guns.
This is Hawaii.
You’ll never get an honest answer about guns
from Veterans in the most anti-gun state
in the USA
A sound survey.....NOT.
Of whatever the real percentage is, rest assured that you’d be totally OK with the fact that 90% of them are armed.
Does it require their lips to move? 😆🤪😀😝
50% of Americans own a semi-automatic weapon. Think of the takings in $millions by government if these weapons are made illegal to possess.
The pic of the gun toting lady in the article sure has some pretty large knuckles. Just sayin.
Those are rookie numbers.
