Someone explain to me how you even begin to shovel 4 or 6 feet of snow?

Well, first off, you don’t wait until you have that much to start.

You go out several times in the teeth of the storm, wearing ski goggles if necessary to see, and shovel while it is still at a manageable amount usually no more than a foot.

I have shoveled the driveway to look back when I go done and seen 3-4 inches on the part where I started because it was snowing so heavily.

You go in, warm up, refuel and take a bathroom break and go out for the second round.

Just out of curiosity, how many 50 foot long driveways covered with 4 feet of heavy snow have you shoveled out lately?

People in relatively good health die shoveling this crap. It isn’t just people “...so out of shape”. Older people should not be shoveling wet snow, period.
